Platinum
Tanzanite Diamond

At its 95% purity, Platinum is durable, pure, rare and eternal. It is the most precious of metals used in jewellery manufacturing.

Tanzanites are the rarest of all gem stones. Their blue colour, surrounded by a fine hint of purple, sets  them apart from all other gem stones.

The term diamond derives from the ancient Greek adamas, which means indestructable. Diamonds are, in fact, the hardest and purest substance on earth.

Platinum's wear- and tarnish-resistance character is well suited for making fine jewellery. Platinum is more precious than gold or silver.

As we have entered the 21st century Platinum has become the favourite metal of today's designers. Platinum previously reached its height of popularity in the 1920's during the Art Deco period and was used by legendary jewelers to create their timeless designs.

Tanzanites are named after the East African state of Tanzania as it can only been found on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

They were only discovered in 1967 and were immediately celebrated by specialists as the 'gemstone of the 20th century'. With its radiant colour, captivating aura and exclusivity it personifies immaculate, yet unconventional elegance.

The brilliance and shine of diamonds is a result of their high density which makes light pass through them more slowly, dispersing into the colours of the rainbow.

If diamonds are cut properly they produce more brilliance than any other gemstone on the planet. Although diamonds are mined in more than 20 countries, South Africa is internationally renowned for the outstanding quality and purity of its diamonds.
